Meet Pablo, our Rescue Dog of the Month for May 2018!
Pablo, owned and loved by Ben, was adopted from Lifeline Puppy Rescue in March 2013. He was just an 8-week old pup, found wandering the streets of New Mexico, and then he landed in Colorado!
Pablo had a DNA test done through Wisdom Panel and the results are in: he is primarily Labrador Retriever, with a small percentage of Golden Retriever, Rhodesian Ridgeback, and Springer Spaniel.
Pablo gets to go on a 3 mile jog in a big open space every morning with his owner. He loves to swim after his ball and leaping for flying discs! He is protective and spends his day making sure that raccoons and cats stay away from his backyard chickens - a job that he takes very seriously! Pablo regularly gets to ride around in Ben's Jeep when he's doing his errands, and he loves to settle down at night with a chew: his favorites include bully sticks, beef trachea, and pig ears. Pablo is Ben's best buddy ever and they have a deep and intense bond - they are both so lucky that they found each other!
