We're going green! Operating an environmentally-conscious company has always been important to us, from reducing our waste as much as possible and reusing our packing materials whenever we can, to printing all of our invoices on recycled paper and using Cradle-to-Cradle certified boxes for most of our orders we are always looking for ways to reduce our impact on the Earth.

That's why when we were approached by our utility company to see if we wanted to switch to using renewable energy, we jumped at the chance! As of this week, we now we get 100% of our power from renewable sources!

Here's how it breaks down:

• 85% of our power comes from wind energy.
• 15% of our power comes from biomass (wood waste) energy.

What other things do we do to reduce our impact on the Earth?

Our products:

Free-range cattle and locally-sourced, natural products.

We strive to provide the highest-quality natural treats on the market. We want our dogs to eat the healthiest treats they can and we employ the same thinking when we provide treats for our customer's dogs. We sell natural, grass-fed beef products like bully sticks, because we believe limiting pesticide use and consumption is healthier for the Earth and our pets.

Cradle-to cradle certified boxes, Recycled and recyclable packing material

As an online company, we know that the packaging we use can be be a big source of landfill waste. That's we we strive to use packaging that is either recycled or recyclable. A majority of our packaging, sent through the US Mail is Cradle to Cradle certified, meaning among other things, 99.99% of the packaging ingredients have been assessed for human and environmental health and 39 different sustainability criteria have been met for certification.

We print all of our office paper and all of the invoices we send to our customers on recycled paper which meets requirement for fiber sourcing set forth by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.
