As many of our customers know, we have a soft spot in our hearts for rescue dogs. After all, our two chief product testers at All Natural Bully Sticks, Stella and Tuesday, are rescue dogs.

We're big fans of Petfinder, a website that let's you search for adoptable animals in your area, based in things like age, sex, breed, and size. You can see pictures of each dog (or cat, bird, or other adoptable animal) as well as read bios about their past and their temperament.

This website is wonderful. Whenever friends start talking about getting a new dog, we find out exactly what kind of dog they're looking for and send them a link to Petfinder with all the great adoptable dogs in their area.

Petfinder iPhone App

The Petfinder iPhone app extends the cool part about Petfinder's website and makes sharing pictures and bios on adoptable dogs with our friends even easier. With just a couple clicks and specific search criteria, we're able to flip through pictures of adorable, adoptable dogs and help convince our friends to adopt.

There are even sweet icons at the bottom of each pet's picture that let you share it on Facebook or Twitter. How cool is that?!

When you're ready to go out and meet one of the adoptable pets you see on Petfinder, the app gives you all the information you need including the shelter's contact person and phone number!
