Dog Park Review: Dr. Jose Rizal Off Leash Dog Park - Seattle
Today we continue our Dog Park Review series with a review of Dr. Jose Rizal Dog Park in Seattle, Washington.
This small, off-leash dog park is located in the heart of Seattle and is accompanied with amazing views of the Puget Sound and Seattle skyline.
Views of Seattle from Dr. Jose Rizal dog park
On a recent day trip to Seattle we visited this cute little dog park to let Stella and Tuesday stretch their legs a little bit before we got back in the car and headed back to Portland.
First Impressions
The park is not very big (only .9 square miles) but its nice to have at least a small place to let your dogs run off-leash in the city. The park has a gravel walkway laid down through the middle of it and there is a water spigot just off the walkway for dogs who get thirsty after romping around in the park. Most of the park is made up of grass and trees. After a rain, some parts of the park can be muddy, so make sure to bring a towel to dry off you dog when you get back from the park.
